I love making cakes that looks like a cake

My sister Artisan will laugh when she reads this cause I was complaining when she asked me to make a her a simple white frosting cake for her bday. Seriously, she could have asked for anything, maybe a craft inspired cake but she wanted a simple white cake. So naturally I complained, telling her, she has an oppurtunity to be creative, but she insisted, so I willingly comply.

To be honest, I do love making cakes that looks like a real cake. I just wanted to make a fuss about it to her cause that's how we make Lambing with each other. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy making cakes out of the ordinary but I'm still a classic kind of girl that loves a good old fashion cake. I especially love this ruffled style icing, soooo chic and classy :)

One day I was making a car, next day I'm making a shoe

So blessed that I get a chance to make something out of sugar and a whole lot of imagination, I love my day Job :)

I made a shoe cake for my dear friend Chiche for her birthday, I knew I wanted to give her a shoe cake cause we both share the same passion for shoes and all things nice hahaha.

So a few weeks ago I was making a bike, now I find myself making a car? wow, who would have thought! hahaha.

Sweet sexy thing

This cake is so fun to make..... hmmmm... okay fine, to be honest I was going back and forth with this cake because I desperately wanted to finish reading The hunger games series so in between icing and rolling I took mini breaks for a quick read. Aside from the constant destraction that is Katniss and Peeta lovestory, I had a blast making this cake, I think the boobies are just sooo cute!!!! Inside is my classic Vanilla buttermilk cake and some good old boiled icing, or marshmallow icing for some :)
